Buzz: Propolis is collected from trees by bees from trees combined with beeswax to form a resin that is used to protect the hive. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and has anti-oxidant and healing properties thought to aid in tissue repair and skin cell regeneration.
Initial Impressions: Brown liquid that comes is a glass bottle with a dropper. It smells sweet like honey and has a strong taste like a brandy. Applying a few drops directly over night cream, I noticed it blended well and added a bit of color.
Review: I like this stuff. It adds a boost of nutrient to my regular night cream, promotes healing and is protective against acne. The natural soft glow of a summer tan is an added benefit.
Cautions: Avoid if you have allergies to bee products. Propolis also it stains fabrics.
