Rose Hip Seed Oil

Product: Rosa Mosqueta (Chili)

Buzz: Rose hip oil is cold pressed from the seeds of rose pods after the petals fall off. The extracted oil is a source of natural retinoic acid (vitamin A) in a natural bio-available form. Essentially it is an all natural Retin A/Retinol. This oil is also high in vitamin C and consists of 80% essential fatty acids - very nourishing for the skin. It is believed to repair damaged skin, reduce wrinkles and a strengthening effect on connective tissue.

Initial Impressions: Slightly pink oil in a glass bottle topped with a squirt pump. It a mild pleasing fragrance that absorbs well into the skin. Applying a few drops directly on my face it penetrated quickly was very soothing and left my skin feeling moisturized. I had a fresh new healthy glow.

How to: Message onto face in upwards stroked until fully absorbed.

Review: Delicious! I have been using this twice daily for six months and it has become an important part of my normal skin routine. By using natural products I have eliminated the effects of skin sensitives from commercial skin care additives, greatly improving the overall health and integrity of my skin. My skin feels more dense, healthy and luminous.

Cautions: Sun sensitivity - use daytime sunscreen. Can cause some acne initially. Start off slowly and increase over time.
