In your favourite salad bowl, combine:
- 4 cups spring mix lettuce
- 1 spring onion chopped
- 1/4 cup of dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
Dressing, combine:
- 1/8 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/8 cup of red or white balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoons of maple syrup
Toss salad with dressing just before serving.
Optional add ons for a full meal: shrimp, tuna, diced chicken, sliced rare beef...
